About the Electric Bike Team

The Electric Bike Team is Auckland's original dedicated electric bike shop. Owner Maurice Wells spotted the idea in Australia and brought it home to Auckland, and his straightforward, inviting and forward thinking approach has cemented the team as the city's go to electric bike experts.

Located just off Karangahape Road in Eden Terrace, the vibrancy of urban living runs through the shop's style. It is an inviting place for anyone looking for expert service and honest advice when buying an electric bike for the ride to work.

Every bike is backed by a large in house workshop. Because of the specialist bikes the team sells, they have the mechanics on hand to service and repair them too, so your benefit bike keeps running smoothly close to home or work.

The Electric Bike Team was founded by Maurice Wells and has been serving Auckland since 2016, celebrating 10 years in business in 2026. Maurice and the team run the shop from East Street in Eden Terrace, just off Karangahape Road.

The Electric Bike Team is at 29 East Street, Eden Terrace, Auckland 1010, a short walk from Karangahape Road. 

The store is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and is closed on Sunday. You can also browse and order online at any time.
