A bike benefit scheme (often called a "salary sacrifice" scheme) is an employee benefit that allows you to get a bike through your employer whilst saving on tax

It’s a government-supported tax policy which encourages environmentally friendly and active commuting .

Getting your bike through the scheme means you don’t need to save up for months to get your dream ride or take out a loan. You pay a certain amount each month from your pre-tax salary until the bike is paid off.

  • Save $$$$: Payments are taken from your gross (pre-tax) salary, reducing your income tax and lowering the bike's total cost.

No. The scheme is designed for you to use your bike primarily to commute to work (over 50% of the time), but you are free to use your bike whenever you like outside of that! Whether it’s a weekend ride on the trails, a trip to the grocery store, or taking the kids to school, it’s your bike to use 24/7. The goal is simply to get more people out of cars and onto two wheels.
